A note from Caroline

"I've published my own books. I know exactly what it feels like to have something written and have absolutely no idea what happens next. Electrifying Press exists because I wanted there to be somewhere you could go — somewhere that wouldn't take your rights, wouldn't ghost you, and wouldn't make you feel like publishing your work was too much to ask for."

I'm a Yorkshire-based writer and author of Self Wise. I'm building Electrifying Press carefully and deliberately — which means I'm only taking on a small number of founding authors at this rate. If this feels like the right fit, I'd love to hear from you.

faq

Do I keep my rights?

Yes. You retain full copyright in your work. Electrifying Press holds a publishing licence for this title — that's it. Your book remains yours.

What about royalties?

100% to you, always. Royalties are paid directly from Amazon KDP and Ingram Spark to your account. Electrifying Press doesn't take a cut.

Can I publish other books elsewhere?

Absolutely. The exclusivity applies to this title only. You're free to self-publish, work with other publishers, or do whatever you like with any other book — past, present, or future.

How long does it take?

Typically 2–4 months from manuscript delivery to publication, depending on the complexity of the book and how quickly we move through proofreading and design approvals together.

My manuscript isn't quite finished — can I still apply?

Get in touch and tell us where you're up to. If you're close, it's worth having the conversation now so you know what to expect when you're ready.

What genres do you publish?

Non-fiction, memoir, personal essays, poetry collections, and short story collections. We're particularly interested in writing that has a distinct voice and something real to say.

Ready?

Your book has waited long enough.

£2000
